Born in the UK and raised in New Zealand, Chris Tarpey has made his mark across the digital stratosphere.
With a Diploma in Film and Television Production, the kiwi technophile has been working in the TV industry for over three years. This work involves live studio shows, vision mixing, international sports broadcasting, editing, advertising and quality control.
Chris established Coast Media in 2008 with a focus on promotional video and digital marketing. His creative team of videography and marketing professionals make every project something special.
Amongst social media-focussed freelancers, Chris utilises multiple digital marketing techniques to set himself apart.
Chris’ drive has resulted in a successful web series and collaborations with Coca Cola, Sony Playstation, Hardy’s, YMCA as well as universities and international speakers.
Coast Media recently rebranded as ChrisTarpey.com. Chris’ leadership skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients made this a natural transition.
Chris’ desire to travel has seen him working remotely across the globe. This ambition has taken him from the Canadian Rockies to London, UK.
Chris returned to New Zealand in October, 2013 and is currently working on contract with Sky Television.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys live music, futurology, new media, indie filmmaking, fashion and pop culture.
